ISO 9001 Quality must be thought – Then produced – From the very beginning

To ensure quality and to inspire our customers with our services, functioning processes are required. For these reasons, the process idea is firmly anchored in WJW’s management system.

Of course, we are guided by the standards and, in addition, we have developed a system that meets the requirements of our customers and society, but also our own needs. This system is maintained and continuously improved.

WJW’s management system has been certified since 2009.

Since then, business processes have been documented and secured. An effective reporting system enables an efficient and continuous improvement of the processes and the products.

For our customers in the aerospace industry, we guarantee production in accordance with the requirements of QSF-A of the Bundesverband der deutschen Luftfahrt- und Raumfahrtindustrie e.V. (German Aerospace Industries Association). (BDLI).

The following guiding principles describe our understanding of quality:

  • The customer is the focus of our daily work
  • Promotion of employee satisfaction
  • Quality improvement as a continuous obligation
  • Trustful interaction with our customers, partners and employees of the company
  • Quality-conscious, economic and efficient work

Measuring Systems – The guarantor for maximum precision

KEYENCE XM-1200 – An image guided 3D coordinate measuring machine with infrared transmission in combination with the latest optical technology enables high precision measurements. The part to be measured can be compared and evaluated with its CAD data for distance dimensions as well as form and position tolerances.

  • Measuring range: 600 x 300 x 200 mm
  • Maximum object table load: 25 kg
  • Measuring accuracy: 8 μm
  • Repeatability: 3 μm

SURFCOM FLEX – The SURFCOM FLEX 3D profilometer from ZEISS can be used to quickly perform simple and precise surface measurement tasks. The equipment delivers, among other things, very high accuracy, reproducibility and very high measuring speeds (additional feed unit with patented linear motor technology and glass scale in the X axis).

Dimensional accuracy in waterjet cutting

In waterjet cutting, a distinction is made between five cutting qualities; these essentially depend on the cutting speed and the quantity of abrasive.

Quality cut —> Rough cut

  • Q1 – Dimensional accuracy +/- 0.05 mm at the upper edge of the part, cutting bevel approx. 0.1 mm approx. 80 % smooth content
  • Q2 – Dimensional accuracy +/- 0.1 mm at the upper edge of the part, cutting bevel approx. 0.2 mm approx. 50 % smooth content
  • Q3 – Dimensional accuracy +/- 0.1 mm at the upper edge of the part, cutting bevel approx. 0.3 mm approx. 30 % smooth content
  • Q4 – Dimensional accuracy +/- 0.1 mm at the upper edge of the part, cutting bevel approx. 0.4 mm approx. 20 % smooth content
  • Q5 – Dimensional accuracy +/- 0.1 mm at the upper edge of the part, cutting bevel approx. 0.5 mm approx. 10 % smooth content

There can be up to 100% speed differences between Q1 and Q5. This factor makes it difficult to compare offers.
