Additive Manufacturing Metal

WJW is a specialized service provider for laser melting with the highest standards

  • Design support – optimizing components for 3D printing
  • 3D printing of metal using the SLM process (Selective Laser Melting)
  • Removal of support structures and surface finishing
  • Post-processing – CNC milling and turning
  • Vibratory finishing of channels and internal structures

Selective Laser Melting

Reliable, punctual, and flexible through our modern machinery

  • 3 SLM systems
  • Work area 245 x 245 x 400 mm
  • Dual laser manufacturing
  • Build plate heating for improved dimensional accuracy
  • QM-Coating, an image after each layer

Inconel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel / Tool Steel

We manufacture components using the SLM process from various materials

Selective laser melting employs numerous materials. Components that were previously unmanufacturable can now be realized.

Component creation takes place in the shortest possible time, directly from the 3D model to the finished workpiece, without the need for fixture construction and the associated costs and effort.

Tolerances and Surfaces

Quality-conscious, economical, and efficient work

  • Tolerances up to +/- 0.05 mm, depending on component size, geometry, and layer thickness
  • Contours and surfaces can be mechanically post-processed
  • Surface roughness from Rz 20 – 45 µm, depending on the material, as well as the layer thickness or build rate and orientation of the surface to the build plate
  • Surfaces of internal channels can be processed to Rz 5 µm using flow grinding
  • Image-guided 3D coordinate measuring device for quality control

Selective Laser Melting for Various Materials

Inconel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Tool Steel, and Titanium

Selective Laser Melting utilizes a wide range of materials. Previously unmanufacturable components can now be realized. Component creation takes place in the shortest possible time, directly from the 3D model to the finished workpiece, without the need for fixture construction and the associated costs and effort.
